Personality Project Post~Samm S

OUTSIDE:
My family is one big happy family, we go on many vacations together and spend a whole bunch of time together. A tradition that we have is that we always get together with our entire family and celebrate Christmas and we also go and get a Christmas tree every year the day after Thanksgiving. In my family slide I have a picture of my mom-Linda, and my dad-Jeff, on their last cruise that they went on. Then there are two pictures of me and my sister because we like to just hang out and goof around when we have nothing to do, and lastly there is a picture of my two cats. My dad’s name is Jeff, and almost everything that I have inherited has come from his side of the family. My mom’s name is Linda, and really since I have almost everything from my dad’s side I really have nothing from her except that she talks a lot and so do I—it is something that I just love to do! Talk and Laugh!  My sisters name is Allie, and well I don’t really know what I can say about her. She is fun, funny, weird, goofy and loves to sing and look in the mirror. Lastly my cats names are Mario and Missy, they are-well, hilarious! They run around the house like they are horses, or they are in our basement looking for something they can bring up like yarn or markers, really anything they can find, and when they aren’t doing that they are really sleeping all day long.

Like I said in my last paragraph almost everything that I have inherited is from my dad’s side of the family. In my inherited features slide I have a arrow pointing to a lady with brown/blonde hair because my hair is the color sandy brown or dirty blonde- I don’t really know, even my parents don’t know(haha), and that is what color my dad’s sisters and he had, and I also got very thick and curly hair from his side of the family. Another thing that I have inherited from their side is that I am short. Everybody in my dad’s family was 5’4 or under. One of my aunts in 5 feet, my other 2 aunts are about 5’2-5’3 and that is how tall my grandparents were as well, and according to my doctor I am finished growing and right now I am about 5’3, which clearly shows that I am short. Lastly, my dad has hazel eyes and so do I which is another thing that I inherited from his side. Now, there is only one thing that I really inherited from my mom and that would be that I like to talk and laugh a whole bunch!

For my outer appearance I really like the stores Aeropostale and American Eagle. These are the stores that I shop at the most and I get a lot of my clothes there. I also like the brand name Coach and have a pair of shoes that are real from Coach. Another name brand that I like is Tiffany and Co., and I have a real necklace and bracelet from them which I wear all the time. Another picture on my Outer Appearance slide is a picture of my shampoo which is the blue Herbal Essence and the last picture on this category is, is a straightener. I use my straightener almost every morning unless I don’t have time to blow dry may hair, but otherwise I really straighten my hair every morning.

For my Inherited Traits slide, there are three pictures. First, there is a picture of a hand with an R in it because something that was a trait that I inherited was that I am right handed. Another picture that was on that slide was a pair of glasses with an cross out sign in it because I have never had glasses and I have perfect 20.20 visions. One more thing that has a cross out sign on it is a allergy sign because I have never had any allergies, I don’t have any and I’m not allergic to anything either. So that is why that is on that slide with a cross out/ no sign on it.
For my Social Behavior there is a picture of a cell phone, one because that is the phone I want next and texting is a way that I communicate with my friends besides talking with them in person, and something that I love to do. Another picture that was on my social behavior was a picture of me and Lizzie Least because that is totally the way we act all the time. Just kidding, but we have a lot of fun. Lastly there is a picture of Justin Bieber because he is truly my role model! Actually I am just totally in love with him and I think that I am his biggest fan! Haha Also I have a slide right after that, that just shows a few of my friends and all the pictures on that slide are from the past cheerleading season, which was a blast!

For the next slide, the Talents, Skills, and Abilities slide I have three pictures on it. The first picture is a picture of a swimmer, that has the logo EXPRESS on it and a little clip at the bottom that shows another thing for EXPRESS because that is the team that I swim for currently. I started swimming on a swim team when I was 4 years old on Lake Country, and continued on that team until I was 8 years old. Then I changed teams to Waukesha Express Swim team when I was 8 and have been on that team until now. Another picture on that slide is a picture of a softball that says fast pitch because ever since I was little I started playing T-ball and then went to softball, and last year I changed to fast pitch and I really like playing so that is why I put that picture on that. Lastly I put a picture of a piano on the Talents, Skills, and Abilities slide because I started playing the piano when I was four and continued until last year when I quit because I didn’t have to play the piano anymore with my sports and swimming 6 days a week, I just didn’t have time but I still play for fun when I get bored sometimes.

INSIDE:
For my inside slide, it starts with Future Plans. For my future I plan on graduating and then continuing on to UW Madison collage, because I would love to go and get a doctors degree because when I grow up I really want to be a orthopedic surgeon so I really want to go to Madison to get my degree. Another thing that I plan on doing when I grow, is getting married and having three children.

For my eating habits slide, there is a picture of pizza and steak because I think that those are my favorite foods. Another picture on that slide is a picture of the Texas Roadhouse logo because that is my favorite restaurant. Then there is a picture of cauliflower with a no sign through it because I hate cauliflower—the taste and the smell of it. Lastly there is a picture of a clock with the time 4:45 in it because that is usually the time I eat because I leave for swimming at 5:30 and don’t get home until 8:30 and I don’t want to eat when I get home and then after eat before I leave, I go and get ready and by that time it is about time to leave for swimming which is why I eat so early, and according to our coach we are supposed to eat about 2 hours before practice so that is about 2 hours before my practice starts.

For the next slide, the Fears and Pet Peeves slide, there are two pictures that show snakes and spiders, and insects because those truly scare me the most. I can’t stand insects and snakes freak me out the most! I am like deathly afraid, more than tornadoes. The other picture on this slide is a picture of earphones for an iPod, because something that just eirtitates me is when you are sharing earphones with someone and they put in the left earphone in their right ear or exactly the opposite. It eiritates me so much because the earphones clearly say L and R on them and when people put the wrong one in it just bugs me to pieces. Another pet peeve I have is when people are listening to the radio and they constantly are changing the channels if there are commercials on. Just leave it on the channel and wait for the music to come back on!

For my favorites page I have many picture on it. First, I have a picture of the movie Elf. It is my ultimate favorite movie—I can quote every line of it I have watched it so much! I watch it in the middle of summer, I don’t care it’s a Christmas movie, I watch it anyways. The next picture on this slide is the word F/CE because it’s my favorite class, and 17 is on here as well because that is my favorite number. Another picture is a picture of a sun because Summer is my favorite season. You get to lay in the sun, get a tan and swim in pools, how couldn’t that be fun. There is also a picture of the cover of Make It or Break It, which is a TV show, because that is my very favorite show on every Monday night. A few more things that I have on this slide is a picture with purple, aqua, and pink in a square because those are my favorite colors, and lastly there is a picture of Justin Bieber again, because he is my favorite singer!

In my Emotions and Feelings slide, there is a picture of my sister Allie. She makes me upset and angry, but also happy and makes me laugh a lot! What can I say, I got to love her! Another picture on this slide is a picture of a coffin and a funeral because that is something that makes me really sad, and there is also a picture of some random kids because whenever I see little kids or baby sits for them they always make me happy so that is why there is a picture of that on this slide as well.

For my last slide, the Life Experiences slide, there are four pictures. The first picture is a picture of a cruise. I have been on three cruises in my life. I have been to almost all the Caribbean Islands and have been on two Disney cruises and a Carnival. Another picture on this slide is a picture of a moving box because I have moved twice in my life time. Then, there is a picture of a coffin/funeral again because about 2 ½ years ago my uncle passed away because of Pancreatic Cancer. Lastly, there is a picture of a tornado because about 1 ½ years ago, I was in 2 small tornadoes, all in one day. It was one of the scariest things that I think have ever happened to me in my life, because I didn’t know what was going to happen.

This project was really cool because it really made me actually think of everything in my life and really almost “learn” about myself. Things that you haven’t thought of in a long time. I really liked this project and I would recommend it for next year! I also think it is a cool way to show your class mates stuff that they might not know about you. If I had to suggest something for next year, the only thing that I would say that you should change for next year is not making them type all of these paragraphs because besides finding all of the pictures and then having to write all of this is really exhausting and honestly I don’t think necessary. I would say that if you would want them to write something maybe have them write like a page paper just summarizing their inside, and summarizing the outside. Otherwise, I liked this project a lot!
