Personality Project

There are many things that people just don’t know about you. They only see the things on the outside. However, what they don’t see is what’s on the inside. Many people all over the United States think that just because someone knows what’s on the outside, they have to know what’s on the inside too. Your hopes, your dreams, your deepest darkest secrets. You can’t just assume someone to know these things. When you walk into a new classroom, or a new school, do you expect everyone to know your name and to know everything about you?

On the outside, you see the physical features, and maybe even some family. On my first slide, I put a picture of my mom’s side of the family. Most of that family lives up north, or in completely different states. We hardly ever get to see them. But, when we do, there’s no telling what’s going to happen. Also, I put a picture of my mom and my niece Shelby Raye. Both my mom and my niece are important to me. If anything were to happen to them, I would be completely lost. On the bottom, I put a picture of my dog Angel. Angel is quite the spaz. She is a husky, German Sheppard, black lab, pit bull, boxer mixed. She will be on in May. Over all, she is a beautiful puppy. And, she is very kid friendly. My last picture is of my other dog Shadow. Don’t let her looks be deceiving. She is not a black wolf I guarantee you. And, Shadow is a black lab, German Sheppard, husky mix. She is so beautiful. Some traditions include, my mom’s whole family gets together around Easter time. That’s simply a lot of chaos. Though, for any other holiday, it’s just the basic. My moms siblings, my grandma, my grandpa, my brothers and me. Simple and easy. I spend most of my time at my moms rather than my dad.
When you’re looking at someone, what do you see? Their face? Their eyes? Their hair? For the inherited features, I put a picture of my mom. Both me and my big sister Samantha Lynn got my dads freckles. I put a picture of my sister because, I didn’t have one of my mom. My sister has a lot of freckles. I really don’t. My mom has blonde hair and blue eyes. If you put me and my mom together, we look a lot a like. I am proud of looking like my mom. Sure, she isn’t the nicest of all people. But, she is strict. My hair is blonde for now, but, I think that it is starting to get a lot darker than it looks. I have a really close bond to my mom. And, I hope that I will never loose it.
Outer appearance seems to be a big thing here at Asa Clark because, you are not judged on what you are like, you are judged on what you wear. If you wear one hundred dollar jeans and fifty dollar sweatshirts, you are one of the more popular ones. However, with the economy the way it is, things become difficult and people are left with little or no money. For the outer appearance slide I chose Twisted Peppermint Body Wash from Bath and Body Works. Because, it smells really good. Though, I don’t use it all the time. Next, I added a picture of a shirt from Aeropostle. Aeropostle is my favorite store. It’s really expensive. So, when I get something from there, it really is a treat. Lastly, I put a picture of French Vanilla perfume. I just simply love the smell. There is no specific place that I have to get it from. That’s a lot about my outer appearance.
Inherited traits are also very important because, it makes you who you are. Sometimes, if you inherit everything from one parent , you begin to look like them. Though, your personality makes you, you! And only you can change. No one can change you! I wear glasses, so does my mom. We both accidentally got the same type of frames. Therefore we have to put our glasses in separate spots. Also, I put a picture of a right hand because, both my mom and my dad are right handed. And, I just happened to get that trait. I am Caucasian my dad is very white and my mom is fair skinned.
Next, social behaviors. I have a lot of idols. I simply love playing board games. I also love singing. My first picture is of Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland . I love country music and she simply has a beautiful voice. I’ve been listening to them since I was seven years old. I also put a picture of the Monopoly game board. I love the game Monopoly and every week we have a family game night. However with two little brothers, I usually don’t get to choose games. Next, I chose ballet slippers because, when I was little I was in dance. Lastly I have a picture of Taylor Swift. She is a great country singer. She also is one of my idols.
Talents are what you do good and things that you practice. Also, skills are what you can do. And, some other people can’t . Lastly abilities. What can you do? My first picture is of a soccer ball. I’ve been interested in soccer since I was little. My uncle used to play soccer all the time. I got interested in it after he began coaching. When my uncle would coach, I would stand by his side and simply watch. Of course, I never really took up soccer or started playing in for competition. Also, I put a picture of a microphone. The reason why is because I’ve been singing since I was two. Those Disney movies get you hooked. I watched them so many times that I knew the songs in the movie forwards and backward, The first movies that I started to sing to was Mulan and The Little Mermaid. I am now 14. That’s twelve years of singing. I simply love it and will never quit it. Lastly, I put a picture of a violin. Because, I have been taking lessons since I was four and the violin simply has a beautiful sound. I just love to play the violin. I play it every time I get the chance.
Planning for the future is very important. Sure, some dreams are too big. But, as they say, dream big! I have very high expectations of myself. I plan on going to Harvard University for collage. Why? It’s a grany type of eat school with great educational standards. Also, my great- great- great- great grandfather has a chair named after him. The Hersey chair! I also put a picture of a doctor because, that is what I plan to become after going to Harvard. Lastly , I put a picture of Sicily, Italy because, I plan on moving back to my great- great grandpas hometown of Palermo, Sicily when I am eighteen. Which I may add is four years from now.
Kids are quite picky. And, everyone likes different things. As my first picture I have a picture of the Fazoli’s restaurant on Silvernail road in Waukesha. I absoultly love Fazoli’s. Being Sicilian you gotta love Italian foods. And well, Fazoli’s is perfect. Also, a picture of fish. I can’t stand fish. I will never eat fish. In my opinion, it is extremely disgusting. My last picture is of my aunt and her employee’s on or near her motorcycle. My aunt and my uncle own Pistol Pete’s in Brookfield, Wisconsin. They have fantastic food. If you haven’t gone there, you should really try it.
Also, people have different fears. Some are major, some are minor. Though, you can thing that you are not afraid of anything. But, believe me, everyone has fears and pet peeves. One of my pet peeves is drum sets. My little brother has one, and he is so annoying. I get sick of hearing the drums. Secondly, one of my biggest fears is of ghosts. Sure, some people don’t believe and aren’t superstitious. But, I am. That is one of my biggest fears. Lastly, I put a picture of my little brother Johnny, he is so annoying. And, he doesn’t know when he takes things too far. Sure, most little brothers are annoying. People say that it’s just a faze., or it’s just the generation. And, some are worse than others.
Secondly, everyone has their own favorites, their likes and dislikes, and what they can’t stand. Though, my favorites are special in their own ways. First, I put a picture of the t.v. show Make It Or Break It. That show is one of my favorites. Second, I put a picture of the country bad Lady Antebellum. They are a great band, and they are country. Which makes everything better, Lastly, I put a picture of my favorite horror movie Paranormal Activity. Sure, it’s not really all that scary. But, it gives you the chills.
On the other hand, people have different ways of expressing themselves. Some talk to a counselor. Others, write and even how bad it is, some people fight. When I am sad, or there is something on my mind, I usually write it down in a journal or a diary. Otherwise, if it’s really nice out, I go for a walk to clear my mind. In a general sense, I am usually really happy.
Lastly, people go through a lot in their lives. Some of them a significant and they will never forget it. First, I put a picture of a little girl cross eyed because, I was cross eyed when I was little. Secondly, I put a picture of glasses because, I have been wearing glasses since I was nine months old. Lastly, I put a picture of my niece Shelby Raye. She was born August,31,2008. She’s my life. She loves me just as much as I love her. She goes around the house going “Auntie!” “Auntie”. She is so adorable.
In conclusion, how are you supposed to let anyone know how you are feeling if you don’t open up to let them see it? Everyone is different, and they have their own story. But, some things are the same. People change along the road. Their favorites and things change. You will never be the same person you were years ago.
